EA has promised a lot in regards to upcoming star wars titles. They have already anounced the release of 3 expansion packs for Star Wars Battlefront which has been heavily criticised upon release for having no content. Even though Battlefront was quite obviously a rushed release, maybe it can redeem itself?
The names of the expansions so far are "Bespin and Death Star" with the third title to be released at a later date.
Star War: Galaxy Of Heroes also has updates coming with content to be added by the end of the year.
Also announced was the development of a further 2 games by third party developers Visceral games and Respawn Entertainment.
Free Radical has announced that Star Wars: Battlefront 3 is being uploaded to steam as free download. It has been renamed "Galaxy In Turmoil" but
It sounds to us that EA is really cashing in on the Star Wars franchise, and who can blame them? We hope that the market doesn't become flooded with weak titles that just live off the name. Replica's of the first battlefront games would be a welcome edition though!
